Nominees for 2021 Laureus World Sports Awards announced

The Laureus World Sports Awards 2021 will be a ‘virtual’ event instead of an annual gala ceremony to respect ongoing social distancing measures.

However, the awards ceremony, which will take place in early May, will continue to celebrate the achievements of men and women athletes and their impact on society.

An expert panel of more than 1000 sports journalists is invited to select the nominees every year, and the winners are selected by legendary members of the Laureus World Sports Academy.
