Lewis Carl Davidson Hamilton

Born on 7th January 1985 in Stevenage, United Kingdom, Lewis Carl Davidson Hamilton is the first Black driver to race in the Formula One and is considered amongst the greatest Formula one drivers by motorsports fans. Hamilton has dominated numerous races with his record wins.

• Hamilton has been marked in the history of F1 racing as the first driver who started at 20th place or lower than that for at least three times

• Won the Formula Renault 2.0 UK Championship in 2003

• Won the 2008 F 1 season, and was the youngest Formula One Champion until Sebastian Vettel surpassed the record

• In the 2009 New Year Honors, Hamilton was appointed the Member of British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II for his sterling performances and sportsmanship.
• Repeated the feat in 2014 and was honoured as the BBC Sports Personality of the Year
• Became the BBC Sports Personality of the Year in 2014
• Bagged PAP European Sportsperson of the Year title in 2014
• Clinched the GQ Sportsman of the Year title twice in 2014 and 2015
• Hamilton currently holds the six-time Formula One World Championship titles in the years 2008, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2019, and his total tally is of 84 race victories and 151 podium finishes.

• Entitled with DHL Fastest Lap Award four times: 2014, 2015, 2017, 2019
• Won FIA Pole Trophy four times: 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018
