Mikaela Pauline Shiffrin

Mikaela Shiffrin, born on March 13, 1995, is an American alpine skier celebrated for her exceptional talent on the slopes. Hailing from Vail, Colorado, Shiffrin made her mark in skiing at a young age. Known for her precision and agility, she became the youngest slalom champion in Olympic history at the 2014 Winter Games. Shiffrin continued to dominate the skiing world with numerous World Cup victories and multiple Olympic medals. • Participated in the Winter Olympics of 2018 and clinched a gold medal in giant slalom and silver medal in the combined event. Besides this, she also stood at the fourth position in women's slalom event, held in Pyeongchang. 
• At the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships of the year 2017, Shiffrin earned a gold medal in the slalom and the silver medal in the giant slalom event that took place at St. Moritz.
• Won the gold medal in the slalom event at the 2014 Winter Olympics held in Sochi
• Bagged gold medals in 2013, 2015 and 2017 in slalom and the silver medal in 2017 in giant slalom event at the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships
• Earned a bronze medal in slalom at the World Junior Alpine Skiing Championships in 2011.
