Alex Morgan

Alex Morgan is an American soccer player born on 2nd July 1989. She is an Olympic medalist and a FIFA World Cup Champion who plays on forward position for Olympique Lyonnais of Divison 1 Féminine in the NWSL and the US women’s national soccer team.

Major Achievements:-

• Drafted No.1 overall in the 2011 WPS Draft by the Western New York Flash. The same year she won a silver medal at the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup, held in Germany.
• Won a gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics and was entitled as the Sportswoman of the Year by Women's Sports Foundation under the Team Sport category.
• Won a gold medal at the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup, held in Canada.
• Honoured with CONCACAF Women's Championship golden boot for her dynamic performance at the CONCACAF Women's Championship 2018.
• Aided the national team to bag add another gold medal in its international medal tally with her extraordinary performance at the FIFA Women's World Cup 2019.
