David Andrew Warner

Born on 27 October 1986, David Warner is a left-handed opening batsman of Australia who was also a former captain of the Australian national cricket team. Warner also served as the vice-captain in the Test and ODI formats of the game between 2015 and 2018. In domestic cricket, he plays for New South Wales, BBL's Sydney Thunder and IPL's Sunrisers Hyderabad.

His Achievements:-

• In 132 years of history, David Warner is the first and only Australian cricketer to have been selected for a national team in any format without experience in first-class cricket.
• In 2015, Warner became the third batsman in the history of Test cricket to score a century in both innings of a Test match thrice after Sunil Gavaskar and Ricky Ponting.
• In 2017, Warner became the fifth cricketer to hit a century before lunch on the first day of a Test match. He did it against Pakistan. In the same year, he also became the fourth player to win the Allan Border Medal more than once. He also played his 100th ODI in the same year and became the first batsman for Australia to score a century in his 100th ODI.
• In 2019, David Warner surpassed the record of Sir Donald Bradman (334) and Mark Taylor (334*) for the second-highest individual score by an Australian Test batsman by scoring 335 not out against Pakistan.
