Sir Don Bradman

Sir Donald George "Don" Bradman, born on 27^th August 1908, was a prominent Australian cricketer who is regarded as one of the agilest batsmen. Apart from being a prominent cricketer, he serves his sport as a successful administrator, selector as well as a writer. He has earned numerous accolades during his active career.  

A few of those greatest achievements are listed below:-

• In 1947, during India's first tour of Australia, Bradman scored his 100th century and became the only Australian to do so.
• Bradman's career Test batting average is 99.94 which is the highest batting average ever.
• In 1930, Bradman created a record of scoring the most number of runs (974) in a single Test series.
• During the Test match of 1936, he reckoned 270 runs which are the highest scores by a batsman batting at number 7. 
• In 1979, Sir Donald Bradman received the honor of Order of Australia for his sincere efforts and fruitful guidance in the sport.
