Sawarn Singh

Sawarn Singh is an Indian rower. His special arena is in single skull events. He has represented India in the Asian Games and the Asian Rowing Championship. He won one bronze and a gold medal in the Asian Games. Additionally, he has won a gold, silver, and three bronze in the Asian Rowing Championships.

Here are some of his career achievements:

• Secured the 17th position at the 2011 World Rowing Championship that was held in Slovenia
• Won a gold medal at the 2011 National Games for Men’s Singles Sculls event, held in Jharkhand
• Secured the 16th position at the 2012 Summer Olympics, held in London
• Successfully acquired the first position winning a gold medal at the 2013 Asian Senior Championship, held in China
• Secured a bronze medal at the 2014 Asian Games, held in South Korea
• In the year 2015, he was honored with Arjuna Award by the Government of India for his sincere efforts in rowing
