Saba Anjum Karim

Saba Anjum Karim was born on 12^th June 1985. She is a hockey player of Indian Women’s Hockey Team who has given her crucial participation in several national as well as international events such as Junior World Cup, Asian Games, Asia Cup and Commonwealth Games.

Her Achievements:-

• Won a gold medal at the U-18 AHF Cup held in Hong Kong, in 2000
• Secured a gold medal along with the team at the 2002 Commonwealth Games held in Manchester
• Won a gold medal at the 2004 Asia Cup held in New Delhi
• Earned a bronze medal at the 2006 Asian Games, held in Doha
• Bestowed with the “Arjuna Award”, by the President of India Dr. Pranab Mukherjee in 2013
• Conferred with “Padma Shri” in 2015
