Ritu Rani

Born on 29th December 1991 in Haryana, Ritu Rani is a prominent hockey player and former captain of the Indian women's hockey team. Being one of the finest halfback players, Ritu Rani has added many accolades in her cap and several proud moments to her country.

• 2006 - She won bronze at the Asian Games, held in Doha
• 2009 - Rani scored the 8 goals helping India winning Champions Challenge II in Russia
• 2013 - Won Bronze medal at Asia Cup held in Kuala Lumpur
• 2014 - Won Bronze medal at Asian Games held in Incheon
• 2016 - Under Ritu Rani's captaincy, the Indian women's field hockey team qualified for the Summer Olympics. The same year, she received the prestigious "Arjuna Award" by the Government of India.
• 2017 - Clinched a gold medal at the Asia Cup, held in Gifu
