Mouma Das

Mouma Das is an Indian professional table tennis player. She has won multiple awards in the Commonwealth Games and held the winning position at the Women’s Team Competition, 2018. Das holds Arjuna Award and Padma Shri, both supremely prestigious awards for her contribution to sports.

• Won a bronze medal in the 2006 Commonwealth Games (Women’s team) held at Melbourne
• Silver medalist in Women’s team event at the Commonwealth Games of 2010
• Honored with the prestigious "Arjuna Award" in 2013 by the Government of India
• Became the first Indian female table tennis player to win 2 medals (silver and bronze) in the Commonwealth Championship of 2015
• Mouma holds the record of winning most number of gold medals (8) in the South Asian Games by a table tennis player
