Jasjeet Kaur Handa

Jasjeet Kaur Handa was born on 20th December 1987. She is amongst the prominent players of the National Women’s Hockey Team of India.

Her Achievements:-

• Received the "Arjuna Award" in 2010 by the Government of India.
• Earned a bronze medal with the Indian team at the 2006 Asian Games, held in Doha
• Instrumental in India’s gold medal win at the 2004 Hockey Asia Cup, held in New Delhi
• Voted ‘Promising Young Player of the Tournament' in the 2004 Hockey Asia Cup, held in New Delhi
• Contributed her sincere efforts to the team in winning a gold medal at the 2003 Afro-Asian Games, held in Hyderabad.
• Played for Haryana and secured the first position at the 2002 National Games, held in Hyderabad.
