Prakash Nanjappa

Born on 29 February 1976, in Bangalore, Prakash Nanjappa is a professional shooter from India who predominantly participates in 50m and 10m air pistol events.

• Became the only Indian shooter to earn a medal (bronze) at the ISSF World Cup of 2013, held in Changwon
• Secured a silver medal at the Commonwealth Games of 2014, held in Glasgow
• The same year, he clinched a bronze medal with a team in at the Asian Games, held in Incheon
• Qualified for the Rio Olympics (2016) finishing 25th in men's 50m pistol event
