Yuki Bhambri

Born on 4 July 1992 in New Delhi, Yuki Bhambri is a professional tennis star of India. His sisters Ankita and Sanaa and cousins Prerna and Prateek Bhambri are also professional tennis players. He started playing the sport at the age of 5-6, watching his sisters. He turned pro in 2008 and is the former junior world No.1 (February 2009).

A glimpse of his career achievements:

• Bagged a silver and a bronze medal at the 2008 Commonwealth Youth Games in the doubles and singles events respectively.
• Won the Australian Open Junior Championship 2009 and became the first Indian to do so.
• Earned a silver medal in the singles event at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games.
• Won bronze medals at the 2014 Asian Games in singles as well as doubles events.
• Won 7 ATP Challenger Tours and 12 ITF Futures Circuit titles in singles and 6 ATP Challenger Tours and 1 ITF Futures Circuit title in the doubles event.
