Sandhyarani Devi Wangkhem

Born on 1st February 1983, W. Sandhyarani Devi is a professional Indian wushu player. Earlier, she was a boxer but got much influenced with Wushu and started pursuing the sport. Sandhyarani Devi has achieved a lot in her career.

Here are some of her career achievements:-

• Won a bronze medal at the Asian Championship of 2008.
• Won a silver medal in 56 kg women’s Sanshou category at the Asian Martial Arts Games of 2009.
• Won a silver medal in women’s Sanshou 60 kg category at the Asian Games of 2010.
• Recipient of Arjuna Award in 2011.
• Bronze medalist in 60 kg women’s Sanshou category at the World Championship of 2013.
