- Won a gold medal in Men’s 56 kg category at the Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships, held in Penang, Malaysia in the year 2009
- Bagged a bronze medal in Men's 56 kg category at the Commonwealth Games of 2010 that took place in Delhi
- Won a Gold medal in Men's 56 kg category at the National Games, held in Jamshedpur in 2011
