Udham Singh

Udham Singh Kular, born on 4^th August 1928, was a former professional field hockey player who played for India.

His Achievements:-

• Won the gold medal in Team competition at the 1952 Olympic Games which were held in Helsinki.
• Captained the Indian Hockey Federation team in the 1955 Warsaw tour and the 1959 East Africa Tour.
• Bagged a gold medal in Team competition at the 1956 Olympic Games, held in Melbourne, Australia.
• Roped in a silver medal at the 1960 Summer Olympic Games which were held in Rome.
• Captured the gold medal in Team competition at the 1964 Olympic Games, held in Tokyo, Japan.
• Awarded the Arjuna Award in the year 1965.
