Surinder Kaur

Surinder Kaur was born on 12^th July 1982. She is a player of the Indian Women’s Field Hockey team who gave an eye- catching performance at the Hockey Asia Cup of 2004 and won the gold medal.

Her Achievements:-

• Won a bronze medal along with the Indian Hockey team at the 2002 Women’s Champions Challenge held in Johannesburg.
• Bagged a gold medal for India at the 2004 Hockey Asia Cup, held in New Delhi.
• Earned a bronze medal for India at the 2006 Asian Games, held in Doha.
• Honored with the prestigious Arjuna Award in 2009 by the Government of India.
• Captained the Indian Women’s Hockey team at the Asian Women’s Champions Trophy in 2010, held in South Korea.
• Led the Indian Women’s Hockey team as a captain at the 2010 World Cup, held in Rosario.
