Srabani Nanda

Srabani Nanda, born on 5^th July 1991, is an athlete from Odisha, India, specialized in 4x100m relay, 100 meters and 200-meter sprint.

Her Achievements:-

• Bagged a bronze medal in both 100 and 200m sprint events at the 2007 SAF Games, held in Colombo.
• Captured the gold medal in the 4 x 100 m relay for girls, at the 2008 Commonwealth Youth Games, held in Pune, India.
• Roped in gold medals in the U-20 girls 100m and 200m events at the 25th National Junior Athletics Championship, held in 2009, in Warangal.
• Bagged a bronze medal in 4 x 100 m relay at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, held in Delhi, India.
• Won two silver medals for 100m and 4 x100m relay at the 15th National Senior Federation Cup Athletics Championship, held in May 2010 in Ranchi, Jharkhand.
• Qualified for the 2016 Rio Olympics in the Women’s 200m category with a time of 23.07 seconds at the G Kosanov Memorial Meet in Almaty.
• Claimed gold and silver medals in 200 and 100m sprint events at the 2016 South Asian Games, held in Guwahati, Assam.
• Won a bronze medal in the Women’s 4 x 100m relay event at the 2017 Asian Athletics Championships.
