Born on 14th September 1995 in Phnom Penh, Sorn Seavmey is a stalwart taekwondo practitioner from Cambodia.
Her Achievements:
At the Asian Gamesof the year 2014 (Incheon), Seavmey won a gold medal in the middleweightcategory.
Bagged a gold medal at the Southeast Asian Games of 2013 (Naypyidaw) in the middleweight category
Secured a bronze medal at the Southeast Asian Games of the year 2011 (Jakarta), in the lightweight category
Seavmey qualified for the Summer Olympics 2016 but defeated in the round of 16. She was also the flag bearer of Cambodia in the Parade of Nations of the RioOlympics.
Earned a gold medal in middleweight category in 2017 Southeast Asian Games, held in Kuala Lumpur.
At 2018 Asian Games, she was the Flag Bearer for Cambodia during the opening ceremony.
Bagged a gold medal in heavyweight (73+ kg) category in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games, held in Philippines.
