Simon Whitfield

Simon St. Quentin Whitfield, born on 16^th May 1975 in Kingston, Ontario, is a retired Canadian athlete who has represented his country in several international Triathlon events. He became the Olympic triathlon champion in the year 2000.

 His Achievements:-

• Won bronze at the 1999 Pan American Games held in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
• Bagged a gold medal at the 2000 Summer Olympic Games held in Sydney, Australia
• Secured a gold medal at the 2002 Commonwealth Games held in Manchester
• Clinched a silver medal at the 2008 Summer Olympic Games held in Beijing, China
