Shweta Chaudhary

Born on 3^rd July 1986, Shweta Chaudhary is a prominent Indian shooter who has plenty of achievements under her belt.

Some of her achievements are listed below:

• In 2002, she earned a silver medal in the 10m Air Pistol team event at the Manchester Commonwealth Games.
• In 2004, she won a bronze medal in 10m Air Pistol team event at the Asian Shooting Championship, held in Kuala Lumpur.
• In 2004, Shweta was awarded the Bheem Award by the government of Haryana for her excellent shooting performances.
• In 2005, she clinched 2 gold medals in 10m Air Pistol and 10m Air Pistol team event at the Asian Air Gun Championship.
• In 2005, she bagged one gold and two silver medals at the Commonwealth Shooting Championship, held in Melbourne.
• In 2006, she earned a silver medal in 10m Air Pistol event at the Doha Asian Games.
• In 2007, she won a bronze medal at the Bangkok World University Games.
• In 2008, she clinched 3 gold medals in 10m Air Pistol, 10m Air Pistol team and Sports Pistol team event at the South Asian Games, held in Islamabad.
• In 2008, she also bagged 2 gold medals in Sports Pistol and Sports Pistol team event at the South Asian Shooting Championship, held in Islamabad.
• In 2009, she earned 2 gold and one bronze medal in 10m Air Pistol team, Sports Pistol team and Sports Pistol event at the South Asian Shooting Championship, held in Dhaka.
• In 2009, she bagged a bronze medal at the Asian Air Gun Championship held in Doha in the air pistol event.
• In 2010, she won 3 gold medals at the Commonwealth Shooting Federation Championships, held in Delhi.
• In 2011, she bagged a silver medal in 10m Air Pistol team event at the Asian Air Gun Championship.
• In 2012, she clinched gold medal in Asian Shooting Championship, bronze medal in Asian Air Gun Championship and silver medal in the IAAF Grand Prix Final.
• In 2013, she earned a bronze in 10m Air Pistol team event at the Asian Air Gun Championships.
• In 2014, she won a silver medal in 10m Air Pistol team event at Asian Air Gun Championship.
• In 2014, she earned a bronze medal at the Asian Games in Incheon at the women’s air pistol shooting event.
• In 2015, she received a silver medal at the 8th Asian Air-gun Shooting Championship in New Delhi.
• In 2015, she bagged a gold medal in 10m Air Pistol team event at Asian Air Gun Championship.
• In 2016, she clinched 2 gold medals in 10m Air Pistol and 10m Air Pistol team event at the South Asian Games, held in Guwahati.
• She has won National Championship six times and has been awarded 117 national & 43 international medals for her dynamic performance in the particular sports.
