Born on 19th August 1989, Sheldon Cottrell is a Jamaican (plays for West Indies cricket team) right-handed batsman and a left-arm fast-medium pacer. He is one of the most-skilled fast bowlers of the West Indies team who has shown his brilliant performances many times on the field. In first-class cricket, he currently plays for Leeward Islands cricket team. He is a soldier in the Jamaican Defence Force and known for saluting the pavilion after taking a wicket.
Sheldon made his Test debut against India in November 2013, T20I debut against England in March 2014 and ODI debut against South Africa in January 2015.
