Prabhjot Singh, born on 14^th August 1980, is a prominent forward player of the Indian National Hockey team who has given his vital contribution in winning several major international hockey events.

His Achievements:-

• Bagged a gold medal along with the team at the 2001 Men’s Champions Challenge held in Kuala Lumpur and a bronze medal at the 2007 Men’s Champions Challenge, held in Belgium
• Gave an eye-catching performance at the 2001 Hockey Junior World Cup, held in Australia and clinched a gold medal for the nation along with the Indian team
• Member of the national hockey team that stood 7th at the 2004 Summer Olympics held in Athens
• Played a vital role in winning a gold medal at the 2007 Men’s Hockey Asia Cup held in Chennai
• Received the prestigious Arjuna Award in 2008 by the Government of India
• Helped India win a gold medal at the 2010 "Sultan Azlan Shah Cup", held in Malaysia
• Captained the Sher-e-Punjab team in World Series Hockey in the year 2012
