Born on 16th October 1993, Pawan Kumar is an Indian wrestler who belongs to the capital of India-Delhi.
His Achievements:-
Won gold medals in the Junior National Championship in 2009 and 2010
In 2011, Pawan won a gold medal in Saheed Bhagat Singh international tournament and a bronze in the Junior Asia Championship. The same year, he clinched a gold medal in 84kg category at the 2011 Commonwealth Championships, held in Melbourne.
Bagged a gold at the 2013 Commonwealth Championships in the 84kg category, held in Johannesburg
Honoured with the Rajeev Gandhi Best Wrestler Award in 2013
The wrestler also performed well at the 2014 Asian Games, which took place in Incheon.
The sturdy wrestler has secured a bronze medal by his immaculate performance at the Commonwealth games of 2014 that took place in Glasgow.
Earned a silver medal in the 86kg category at the Commonwealth Championships 2017, held in Johannesburg
Won a gold medal in the 86kg freestyle category at the 2019 South Asian Games
