Park Sung-hyun

Park Sung-Hyun, born on 1st January 1983, is an archer from South Korea. She is a former world no.1 archer and a World Champion as well. She has set the women’s world record with 1405 points in the FITA round.

Some of her career achievements:

• Bagged gold medals in the individual and team events at the 2004 Athens Olympics and a gold medal in team and a silver medal in the individual event at the 2008 Beijing Olympics
• Earned four gold medals, two silver medals and two bronze medals at the World Archery Championships
• Won a gold medal in 2002 in team and other gold medals in the individual as well as team events at the 2006 Asian Games
• In 2016, the World Archery Federation honored her as the best Olympic archer of the 21st century and the third-best archer ever.
