Nadia Elena Comăneci

Nadia Elena Comăneci was born on 12th November 1961. She is a former gymnast from Romania who has earned numerous accolades in her field.

Her Achievements:-

• She is the first Olympic gymnast to have been awarded the perfect score of 10.0 (at the 1976 Summer Olympics, held in Montreal).
• She also won three gold medals, one silver medal and one bronze medal at the 1976 Summer Olympics held in Montreal.
• Earned one gold and two silver medals at the 1978 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, held in Strasbourg.
• Bagged a gold medal at the 1979 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, held in Ft. Worth.
• Won two gold and two silver medals in the 1980 Summer Olympics, held in Moscow.
• Roped in five gold medals at 1981 Summer Universiade, held in Bucharest.
