Born on 10th December 1990 in Sonipat district of Haryana, Mausam Khatri is an Indian freestyle wrestler who has represented the nation at various international events. Besides this, he has also won the title of "Hind Kesari" five times. At present, he serves as a sub-inspector in Haryana.
His Achievements:-
- Khatri made his international debut in 2006 and earned the title of national champion after two years.
- Earned a bronze medal in 96 kg category at the Asian Games of 2010
- Earned gold medals at the Commonwealth Wrestling Championships of 2009 and 2011 in 96 kg category, and a silver medal in the year 2017 in 97 kg category
- At the South Asian Games of 2016, Khatri bagged a gold medal in 97 kg category.
- Khatri dominated the 97 kg freestyle event at the Commonwealth Games of 2018 and attracted the maximum of eyeballs with his sturdy performance.
