Mahesh Srinivas Bhupathi is a professional tennis player from India. He was born on June 7, 1974, in Chennai, India. Bhupathi is an alumni of the University of Mississippi. He started playing international tennis from 1995.

- First Indian to win a Grand Slam. Won the French Open Mixed Doubles titles in 1997 and once again in 2012
- Conquered Wimbledon doubles title in 1999
- Achieved the French open Doubles title in 1999
- Won US Open Mixed doubles title in 1999 and 2005
- Won the Australian Open Mixed Doubles title in 2006 and 2009
- Won Wimbledon Mixed Doubles title in 2002 and 2005
- Won the doubles championship at the 2006 Asian Games held in Doha
- Awarded Padma Shri in 2001
