Born on 12th May 1987 in Kowloon, Lee Wai Sze is a professional racing cyclist from Hong Kong, specialised in track cycling. Lee brought the first ever Olympic medal of Hong Kong in cycling in 2012.
Her Achievements:
- Earned a bronze medal at the Olympic Games of 2012, held in London.
- One gold (in 500 m time-trial), one silver (in 500 m time-trial) and two bronze medals (in sprint) at the World Championships held in 2013, 2015 and 2016.
- One gold (in 500 m time-trial) and one bronze (sprint) at the Asian Games of 2010 and two gold medals (in keirin and sprint) at the Asian Games of 2014.
- Thirteen gold, three silver and eight bronze medals at the Asian Cycling Championships held in between 2010-2017.
- Honoured with the Hong Kong Potential Sports Stars Awards in 2010.
