Born on 30th March 2000 in Mizoram, Lalremsiami is an Indian field hockey player who plays as forward in the national squad. Hailing from an agriculturist family; Lalremsiami's potentials found a way when she joined a hockey academy run by the Government of Mizoram and later on went to Delhi to join the National Hockey Academy.
A glimpse of her career achievements:
- Part of the national squad that won the Women's Hockey Asia Cup of 2017
- Member of the team that spotted the second position in the 2018 Asian Champions Trophy and was honoured with the "U-21 Rising Star" award for the tournament
- The same year her team bagged a silver medal at the Asian Games, becoming the first sportsperson from Mizoram to win an Asian Games medal
- Was the youngest member of the team when included in the team for the 2018 Women’s Hockey World Cup
- At the 2018 Buenos Aires Youth Olympic Games, she aided India in securing a silver medal which was India’s first-ever victory in the history of the Games.
