Kelly Holmes

Dame Kelly Holmes was born on 19th April 1970. She is a retired middle distance athlete representing Great Britain.

Her Achievements:-

• Represented England at the 1994 Commonwealth Games, held in Victoria and won a gold medal
• Bagged a silver medal at the 1994 European Championships, held in Helsinki
• Earned one bronze and one silver medal at the 1995 World Championships, held in Gothenburg
• Representing England roped in a silver medal at the 1998 Commonwealth Games, held in Kuala Lumpur
• Clinched a bronze medal at the 2000 Olympic Games, held in Sydney
• Representing England, Bagged a gold medal at the 2002 Commonwealth Games, held in Manchester
• Bagged two gold medals at the 2004 Summer Olympic Games, held in Athens
