Katulu Ravi Kumar

Born on April 24, 1988, in Odisha, Katulu Ravi Kumar is a stalwart Indian weightlifter who serves in Indian Army. He has earned numerous accolades by giving prolific performances in various state, national and international level competitions.

His significant achievements-

• 2007- Ravi won a silver medal in Asian Junior Men’s Weightlifting Championship held in Jordan.
• 2009- He bagged three Gold medals at the Commonwealth Games held in Malaysia.
• 2010- Ravi again won three Gold medals at the Commonwealth Games held in Delhi.
• 2011- Ravi secured three Bronze medals at the Senior Weightlifting Championship held in China.
• 2012- At the London Olympics, Ravi achieved the 6th position in men's 69 kg category.
