Kaori Matsumoto

Born on 11th September 1987, Kaori Matsumoto is a female Japanese judoka.

A brief account of her achievements:-

• Won a gold medal and a bronze medal at the 2012 London and 2016 Rio Olympics respectively.
• Winner of gold medal at the 2008 Asian Championship, held in Jeju.
• Secured a gold medal at the 2010 Asian Games, held in Guangzhou.
• Clinched two gold medals, each at the 2010 Tokyo and 2015 Astana; and a bronze medal at the 2011 Paris World Championship.
• All the medals have been secured in -57 kg weight category.
