Hwang Kyung-seon

Hwang Kyung-seon is a renowned taekwondo athlete from South Korea. Born on 21 May, 1986, she began her taekwondo journey at a young age. Hwang quickly rose through the ranks with her exceptional skills and determination. She won multiple gold medals in prestigious tournaments, including the Olympics and the World Championships. Hwang's lightning-fast kicks and strategic moves earned her respect and admiration worldwide. Beyond her athletic achievements, she is known for her humility and sportsmanship. Her achievements:-

• Won gold at the 2008 and 2012 Olympics both in -67 categories, held at Beijing and London, respectively
• Winner of bronze medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics
• Secured gold medals in 2005 and 2007; and a bronze in 2011 at the World Championships held in Madrid and Beijing and Gyeongju, respectively
• She had also won a gold medal at the 2006 Asian Games held in Doha
