Harmanpreet Kaur

Harmanpreet Kaur, born on March 8, 1989, in Moga, India, is a prominent Indian cricketer, known for her explosive batting and leadership skills. She made her mark in international cricket with a memorable innings in the 2017 Women's Cricket World Cup, guiding India to the final. Harmanpreet's aggressive playing style and ability to perform under pressure have earned her acclaim. A reliable all-rounder, she has also contributed as a captain of the Indian women's cricket team. • Aided the Indian Women’s cricket team in winning the 2016 T20 internationals series, held in Australia
• Became the first Indian cricketer signed by an overseas Twenty20 franchise by Sydney Thunder for the Women's Big Bash League champions, in June 2016
• Became the second-highest Indian scorer in women's one-day internationals by scoring 171 runs off 115 balls against Australia in the 2017 Women's Cricket World Cup semi-final
• Named as one of the players in the 2017 ICC Women’s T20I Team of the Year
