Harmanpreet Kaur

Harmanpreet Kaur, the current captain of T20I Indian Women's Team, is a dynamic Indian female cricketer who efforts each day to upturn the status of Indian women's cricket team at international stages.

Here are some of her career achievements:

• Captained and played a significant role in India’s win at the 2012 Women’s Twenty20 Asia Cup, held in China
• Proved instrumental in India’s major victory against South Africa women cricket team in a Test match in November 2015 which was played at the Gangothri Glades Cricket Ground, in Mysore, India
• Aided the Indian Women’s cricket team in winning the 2016 T20 internationals series, held in Australia
• Became the first Indian cricketer signed by an overseas Twenty20 franchise by Sydney Thunder for the Women's Big Bash League champions, in June 2016
• Became the second-highest Indian scorer in women's one-day internationals by scoring 171 runs off 115 balls against Australia in the 2017 Women's Cricket World Cup semi-final
• Named as one of the players in the 2017 ICC Women’s T20I Team of the Year
• Honoured with the Arjuna Award in 2017
• Named in Forbes 30 under 30 list in 2018
• Became the first Indian cricketer in 2017 to sign for the English Cricket Board’s (ECB) Kia Super League. She played for Surrey Stars. 
• Record of the highest individual score for India in the history of Women's cricket World Cup
• She is second Indian batter to rank in the top 10 ICC Women's ODI Player Rankings after Mithali Raj
• Became the first woman for India to score a century in a Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) match in November 2018.
• Became the first cricketer for India (male or female) to play in 100 international Twenty20 matches in October 2019
