Born on 25th October 1995, in Punjab; Gurjit Kaur is an Indian field hockey player who plays in the national squad as a defender and drag-flicker. She is born into a farmers' family who got placed in the Indian Railways as a junior clerk after completing her schooling. She began her national career after being selected for the Senior National Camp in 2014.
