Gro Hammerseng-Edin was born on 10th April 1980. She is ahandballer from Norway and plays for the club Larvik HK.
Her Achievements:-
Bagged a silver medal at the 2001 World Championships, held in Italy
Won a silver medal at the 2002 European Championships, held in Denmark.
Bagged gold medals at the 2004 and 2006 European Championships, held in Hungary and Sweden, respectively
Secured a silver medal at the 2007 World Championships in the team event, held in France
Voted the World Handball Player of the Year (female) in the year 2007
Bagged a gold medal at the 2008 Olympic Games, held in Beijing
Voted ’Player of the Year’ by Ikast-fans and won the award in 2009
Clinched a gold medal at the 2010 European Championships which was held in Denmark and Norway. It was the first European Championship held by two countries.
