Geeta Rani

Born on 16th September 1981, Geeta Rani is an Indian female weightlifter who predominantly competes in +75 kg category.

Here are some of her biggest achievements listed below:-

• Bronze medalist at the Afro-Asian Games of 2003, convened in Hyderabad.
• Won 3 silver medals at the Asian Championships of 2004.
• Gold medalist in Women's +75 Kg at the Commonwealth Games of 2006 which were held in Melbourne.
• In 2006, she received the Arjuna Award by the Government of India.
• Geeta Rani was ranked fourth in Women’s +75 Kg at the Commonwealth Games of 2010.
