Fu Mingxia

Fu Mingxia, born on 16^th August 1978, is a professional female diver from China. She is an Olympic gold medalist and the youngest diving World Champion, the feat she earned at the age of 12.

Her Achievements:-

• Won a bronze medal and a gold medal at the 1990 Asian Games held in Beijing.
• Bagged a gold medal at the 1991 World Championships, held in Perth.
• Captured a gold medal at the 1992 Summer Olympic Games, held in Barcelona.
• Won a silver medal at the 1994 Asian Games held in Hiroshima and a gold medal at the 1994 World Championships, held in Rome.
• Roped in two gold medals at the 1996 Summer Olympic Games, held in Atlanta.
• Won a gold medal in 3m Springboard diving and a silver medal in Synchro Springboard diving at the 2000 Summer Olympic Games, held in Sydney.
