Emma Snowsill

Born on 15^th June 1981, Emma Snowsill is a professional triathlete from Australia. She has gained many gold medals by giving prolific performance in World Championships and Commonwealth Games.

A glimpse of her achievements:-

• In 2000, she won the International Triathlon Union (ITU) World Championship under 16-20 years age category.
• She came up as the winner of Lifetime Fitness Triathlon series in 2005 and 2006 held in Minneapolis.
• In 2004 she became the ITU World Cup Champion and finished the season as being ranked at first in the world.
• In 2006, she bagged a gold medal in individual category at the Commonwealth Games which were held in Melbourne.
• In 2006 ITU Championships held in Lausanne, she finished in 45 seconds in front of Portuguese triathlete Vanessa Fernandes and became the first female triathlete to win three world titles.
• In 2009, she received the "Medal of the Honor of Australia" for her meritorious performance in Triathlon events.
