Daniele Masala

Daniele Masala was born on 12th February 1955. He is an Italian modern pentathlete who has earned numerous accolades in World Championships as well as in Olympics.

Here are some of his career achievements:

• Bronze medal in an individual event at the World Modern Pentathlon Championships, held in Budapest in 1979
• One silver medal in an Individual event and one bronze medal in a team event at the World Championships, held in Zielona Gora in 1981
• One gold medal and one bronze medal at the World Championships, held in Rome in 1982
• Bagged two gold medals at the Summer Olympics, each in individual and team events, held in Los Angeles in 1984
• Bronze medal at the World Championships in a team event, held in Melbourne in 1985
• A gold medal and a silver medal at the World Championships, held in Montecatini in 1986
• Bagged a silver medal in the team category at the Summer Olympics, held in Seoul in 1988
