Avtar Singh

Born on 3rd April 1992, Avtar Singh is a professional Indian Judo player. He is one of the finest Judo players who have achieved numerous accolades in his career.

Here are some of his achievements:-

• Gold Medalist in 90 Kg category at South Asian Games in 2016, held in Guwahati
• Avtar Singh is the only Indian male player to qualify for the Rio Olympics in 2016.The same year, he reached his career highest world ranking of 79
• He also represented India at the Commonwealth Games of 2014 which was held in Glasgow
• In 2011, Avtar Singh won bronze medal at the Asian Junior Judo Championship
