Ashish Nehra

Ashish Nehra, born in India in 29 Apr, 1979, is a cricketing stalwart. With his left-arm fast bowling and strategic prowess, he left an indelible mark on the sport. Nehra represented India in various formats, contributing to memorable victories in international cricket. Despite battling injuries throughout his career, his resilience and determination earned him respect from teammates and opponents alike. Nehra's memorable performances in crucial matches, including the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup, solidified his place in Indian cricket history. After retiring from the game, he continues to mentor young cricketers, passing on his knowledge and experience to the next generation.

His achievements so far:-

• Played a crucial part of the Indian squad that participated in the World Cup of 2011.
• Nehra’s career best performance was against England in 2003 World Cup where his match figures were 6/23 and was also awarded as the Man of the match, India won that match as well.
• Another great performance was against New Zealand in the year 2009 where his match stats were 3/24 and was awarded as the Man of the match.
• Has been consistently participating in the Indian Premier League since 2008
• Nehra gave an all-round performance in the Ranji Tournament of 2013 by taking 6/16 for Delhi.
