Ashish Kumar

Born on 26th November 1990, Ashish Kumar is an Indian gymnast from Allahabad, India. He brought India's first gold medal in gymnastics through his phenomenal performance at the Commonwealth Games of 2010.

His Achievements:-

• Ashish earned a bronze medal at the Asian Championship of 2006 in floor exercise.
• In 2010, he secured a bronze medal at the Asian Games, held in Guangzhou. The same year, he also bagged silver and a bronze medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games that took place in New Delhi.
• In 2011, he was named the "Sportsman of the Year" by India International Sports Spirits of Sporting Award.
