Asafa Powell

Asafa Powell was born on 23rd November 1982. He is a Jamaican sprinter, specializes in the 100m.

His Achievements:-

• Won a silver medal in 4x100m relay at the 2002 Commonwealth Games, held in Manchester.
• Won two gold medals in 100m sprint and 4x100m relay at the 2006 Commonwealth Games, held in Melbourne.
• Bagged a silver medal in 4x100m relay and one bronze medal in the 100m sprint at the 2007 World Championships, held in Osaka.
• Clinched one gold and one bronze medal at the 2009 World Championships, held in Berlin.
• Won a gold medal at the 2015 Beijing World Championships.
• Earned a gold medal at the 2016 Olympic Games, held in Rio de Janeiro.
