Arjun Atwal

Arjun Atwal, born on March 20, 1973, in India, is a talented golfer. Atwal's passion for golf began at a young age, and he quickly honed his skills on the course. He turned professional in 1995 and embarked on a successful career. Atwal made history in 2010 by becoming the first Indian golfer to win on the PGA Tour at the Wyndham Championship. • Arjun is the first India born golfer to become a member of the U.S.-based PGA Tour
• Won the Wills Indian Open Tournament, held in India in 1999 with a margin victory of four strokes
• Won the Hero Honda Masters Tournament title in the year 2000 that took place in New Delhi, India
• In the same year 2000, he won the Star Alliance Open Tournament, held in Clearwater Bay, Hong Kong
• Won the Caltex Singapore Masters 2002 which was held in Singapore
• Champion at the 2003 Carlsberg Malaysian Open held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
• Winner of the Hero Honda Masters, 2003, held in New Delhi, India
• Received the prestigious “Arjuna Award” in 2007 from the Government of India
