Shannon Miller

Born on 10th March 1977 in Rolla, Missouri, Shannon Lee Miller Falconetti is a former artistic gymnast of United States. She is the most decorated U.S. gymnast, having a total of seven Olympic medals and the second most decorated U.S. gymnast (after Simone Biles) having a sum of 16 medals earned from the World Championships and the Olympics in between 1991 and 1996.

• Bagged two silver medals in a team event at the 1991 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, held in Indianapolis
• Won two silver in All-around and balance beam and three bronze medals in a team, uneven bars and floor exercise at the 1992 Summer Olympic Games, held in Barcelona
• Won three gold medals at the 1993 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, held in Birmingham
• Roped in two gold medals in All-around and balance beam at the 1994 World Championships, held in Brisbane
• Roped in four gold medals and a silver medal at the 1995 Pan American Games, held in Mar del Plata
• Brought home two gold medals in a team and balance beam at the 1996 Summer Olympics, held in Atlanta
