Michael 'Mick' Sydney Doohan

Michael "Mick" Sydney Doohan was born on 4^th June 1965, in Sydney, Australia. He is a professional motorcycle road racer from Australia.

His Achievements:-

• Won consecutive five 500cc World Championships from 1994-1998
• Was made a member of the Order of Australia in 1996
• In the year 1997, he participated in 15 races, out of which he won 12.
• Received the Australian Sports Medal in 2000
• His name was inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame in 2009.
• The first turn at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit is named in his honor.
