Anjali Bhagwat

Anjali Bhagwat was born on 5th December 1969. She is a professional shooter who has represented India in three consecutive Olympic events.

Her Achievements:-

• Anjali clinched three gold medals and one silver medal at the Commonwealth Championships of 1999, held in Auckland.
• After two years in 2001, she earned four gold medals and one silver medal at the Commonwealth Championships which took place in England.
• At the Commonwealth Games of 2002 which was held in England, she clinched four gold medals.
• Anjali earned two gold medals and one silver medal at the Commonwealth Championships of 2005, held in Melbourne.
• At the Commonwealth Games of 2006 which took place in Melbourne, Anjali earned a silver medal.
• At the Hero India Sports Award event which was held in 2003, Anjali was honoured as the "Sportswoman of the Year".
• Bestowed with Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Award in 1992.
• Received the "Maharashtra Gaurav Puraskar" in 1993.
