Ambati Rayudu

Born on 23rd September 1985, Ambati Thirupathi Rayudu is a professional cricket player from India. He is a right-handed middle-order batsman who plays for Hyderabad team in domestic cricket and Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League.

His Achievements:-

• He is the youngest player (16-year-old) in the history of Ranji tournament to score a double century and a century in the same match against Andhra at 2002-03 Ranji season.
• Captained the Indian Under-19 National cricket team at the 2004 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup which was held in Bangladesh.
• Won the "Man of the Match" award in Sri Lanka vs. India ODI match which was held in Ahmedabad, India, on 6th November 2014.
• Won the "Man of the Match" award in Zimbabwe vs. India ODI match which was held in Harare, Zimbabwe, on 10th July 2015.
• Won the "Man of the Series" award in India vs. Zimbabwe ODI series which was held in 2015. It took place in Zimbabwe.
• He was picked by Mumbai Indians prior to IPL 2011 and quickly became a prolific run-scorer for the team. In the eight seasons that he played for MI, he scored more than 250 runs in each season.
• In IPL 2018, Rayudu joined the MS Dhoni-led side Chennai Super Kings where he scored 602 runs and a maiden century in the season.
